During a recent sit-down interview with The PropertyGuru, Leny Suparman, Chief Executive Officer of KOP Properties, admitted she was still surprised by the company’s success. “Honestly, when we started, we didn’t really think we were going to be this big-time property developer.” Perhaps Lady Luck was smiling during KOP’s entry into the market back in 2006-2007 as land prices at the time were much cheaper than now, allowing for the development of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, followed by the Hamilton Scotts. “One thing led to another…we had access to funds so that was the beginning of our property development career,” she noted.
