Woodlands residents to benefit from 3 renewal programmes

The government is expected to complete three neighbourhood renewal programmes in Woodlands by 2019 that involves upgrading a total of 66 blocks and their common areas, according to Sembawang GRC MP Amrin Amin, reported TODAYonline. Some new facilities will also be constructed, and altogether, these would benefit over 4,700 households, he said during the sidelines of a ministerial visit on Sunday (11 June). Two of these renewal programmes are targeted for completion by September, while the third will be ready by March 2019. Managed by the Housing Board, both focuses on block and precinct improvements, while the third one would benefit around 2,056 families.
