(1) AR, or augmented reality, is still in its infancy in China. But Tencent recently launched an AR mobile translator called Tencent “Intelligent Eye” that can translate English, French and German into Chinese and vice versa by simply having the user point his smart phone camera at the text in need of translation. (2) Travel service Lvmama has raised Series C funding of over RMB 100m (US$15m) from South River Capital and Sequoia .
