The award is given out by Netextplorateur, an organization under the appointment of the French Sénat and the Prime Minister of France, and is handed to the top 10 out of 100 global finalists chosen by the organization. LewatMana is a crowd-sourced CCTV traffic monitoring system with dozens of cameras located in the greater Jakarta region. Anyone with a permanently attached public camera is welcomed to contribute to the service by registering to the website.
