If you could time travel back to day one of your startup and have 15 minutes with your former self to communicate any lessons you’ve acquired with the intention of saving yourself mistakes and heart ache, what would you tell yourself? That would just spoil it! Entrepreneurs are stubborn by nature. Sometimes, the only way they can learn is by failing, and I think I needed to go through all the ups and downs to get to where I am today. I’ve learnt two great life lessons so far. First, was when I quit my comfortable job at IBM to move out to San Francisco without a plan. After that, I lost the fear of taking such a risk and putting myself out there. The second best lesson I’ve learnt, is to know when to call it quits on a product you’ve been so passionate about, pick up your boots, and start on something new.
