RIM wants to pull the PlayBook away from “Chaotic Android Cesspool”

Powered by WP Greet Box Photo:blog.paseban.com Alec Saunders, VP of Developer Relations announced via Twitter that the smartphone maker is planning to drop the ability to sideload Android apps in order to avoid “duplicat[ing] the chaotic cesspool of Android Market.” Saunders highlighted that sideloading appears to facilitate piracy, and RIM is creating another solution for developers who want to transfer their apps to the platform. The downside is, PlayBook users are going to lose access to the vast selection of applications in the Google Play store. Crackberry has some positive analysis Here.
