The Separation of Lifehacker and Hackerspace

Hey Hackerspacers! There’s a small change coming to reader-run communities around here, including Hackerspace: Sometime this week, Hackerspace will be decoupled from the Lifehacker.com domain. What does this mean for you? Well, not much, really. Hackerspace will still be an awesome, user-run community for Lifehacker readers. You’ll just find it at hackerspace.kinja.com, instead of hackerspace.lifehacker.com. This helps make it a bit clearer to first-time visitors that this is a community-run site, and not edited or managed by the Lifehacker team. We’ll still share tips and posts from you guys, including your weekly open threads, so nobody has to skip a beat.
