Qiita, Japan’s technical knowledge sharing and collaboration platform for programmers, has seen registered users exceed 10,000 with monthly unique visitors reaching 150,000 in Japan making it one of the largest online programmer communities in Japan. Increment Inc., the company behind Japan’s Wiki for programmers, Qiita, announced that their service today crossed 10,000 registered members. Launched on September 16 a year ago, Qiita has been growing steadily with the number of monthly unique visitors reaching 150,000 in Japan. According to The White paper on the IT Human Resources published by Information-technology Promotion Agency in Japan, there are approximately 400,000 programmers in Japan.
