Localization has helped LinkedIn grow to a million users in Malaysia - e27

The professional social network says it now has a million users from Malaysia, with localization having helped spur growth. More than one million Malaysians have registered for a LinkedIn account, and this is a significant rise following the social network’s launch in Bahasa Malaysia in 2011. As a result of the localization, more professionals in Malaysia are engaging with each other while seeking out dream jobs. This increase in number of registered professionals can help companies in Malaysia to connect opportunity with talent. Big names such as AirAsia, Axiata and Maybank have been leveraging LinkedIn Talent Solutions to adopt a more strategic approach to recruitment and retention.
