The Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) of Malaysia today announced that it would be allocating RM5 million (US$1.67 million) for the second MSC Malaysia Integrated Content Development Programme (ICON2) to jumpstart web and mobile application development, as well as increase the pool of developers in the country. The funding would spread out across three programmes: ICONapps, ICONdap, and ICONeX.
