With the Thai government clamping down on street food, it’s only a matter of time before this delicious, cheap and authentic dining alternative gets eradicated. To me, this place is the epitome of Thai street food. Firstly, the stall is located at the roadside. Secondly, this stall has no name! Thankfully, the stall is stationed here and doesn’t rove about. Locals know it as ‘The Tom Liap Moo Stall near Lumpini Park’. The only item on the menu is Tom Liap Moo, also known as pork innards soup. Diners can choose to have it with rice or noodles. The pork items served in a standard bowl include sliced pork, intestines, kidneys, and, the most interesting item for me, pig’s blood! Since pig’s blood is banned in Singapore, I’ve never tried it.
