Mediterranean food and more at MEDZS at Orchard Central

I decided to check out Medzs located at the basement at Orchard Central. The place offers a variety of Mediterranean food and much more, with over 150 labels of beer (heard of Kikia beer from Armenia?). Chef Mus, a Moroccan, strikes a balance between the local palette and what is traditionally served back home. At a recent tasting, I started with the Charcuterie Board ($18), which included Serrano ham and Italian sausages with a nice crispy bread stick. I also tried the Chicken Tajine with preserved lemon ($10). With couscous and caramelised onions, the dish may be a little sour for some, but it is certainly authentic stuff. The Pan Fried Duck Leg Confit ($10) is one example where the dish is a bit more localised. It is not as salty and the meat is really tender (and not dried) and tasty.
