Elderly woman doesn't have enough cash, so Ghim Moh stall owner gives her free kway chap

Stomp contributor M gives a thumbs up to the owner of a kway chap stall at Ghim Moh market, who did not charge an elderly woman for a plate of food as she did not bring enough cash. The Stomp contributor was queuing for food at the same stall, and witnessed the exchange. He said: "An elderly auntie didn't bring enough cash, and the kway chap store owner just told the elderly woman it's ok, happy can already." The Stomp contributor added that the stall owner turned down the elderly woman's offer to pay her back. "The auntie didn't charge the elderly woman for the kway chap, and when the elderly woman offered to pay her back, the auntie said never mind. "Kudos to you kway chap auntie. You made my day."
