Most Chinese gain weight after Chinese New Year

China, January 30, 2012 Are you getting fat after Spring Festival holiday? An ongoing survey posted Sunday by the popular micro-blogging site Sina Weibo shows that 70 percent of the 5,000 participants became fatter due to food binge. However, 22 percent of the netizens did not gain any weight while 8 percent of the voters became thinner after visiting relatives and friends. The seven-day-long holiday in China started on Jan 22 this year.
