We would have expected more from a $300 dinner for two. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I ordered the MFK Fisher Oyster Pan Roast as my starter, which was described by the waiter as an "oyster stew". To my surprise, the dish was interestingly served in some sorts of an air-tight sweets jar, but its content was questionable. The "oyster stew" turned out to be 3 tiny oysters in an inch-thick of watery milk/cream soup. While the oysters tasted fresh, the whole dish tasted rather bland. It leaves you thinking… "What am I eating?" I ordered the Lamp Chops as the main. To be fair, the texture was really tender… but I do think it lacks salt as it tasted bland. The yellow sauce that came with the plate (some kind of butter?) also does not add to the flavour.. makes it more oily.
