That was how I felt after trying food from Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant's newly-introduced vegetarian promotion. The menu, created by head chefs Zeng Feng and James Yau, seeks to give guests a healthier alternative with its vegetarian offerings. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of Sichuan cuisine previous dishes I've tried were either too oily or spicy. But, I had a pleasant surprise. Contrary to popular belief, the vegetarian dishes were not bland - in fact, because it was Sichuan, every dish had a distinctive flavour. For starters, be spoilt for choice as there are about nine appetiser dishes on the menu. Try the Red Carrot and Radish dish with Sweet and Sour Sauce - very juicy and easy on the palat...
