Gourmet Japan 2012 Mid-July to Mid-August It is the first year that Gourmet Japan is being held but tickets to some of top events have been sold out. But you can still enjoy special menus, good deals and the best of Japanese seasonal food and alcohol at restaurants taking part in the festival. Attractive deals range from $29.90 for an eight-course meals to $38++ for a 10-course blowout. If money is not an issue, you can go for a six-course gourmet feast at $250++, or a nine-course affair for $300++. Eateries offering special menus include Tatsuya, Fat Cow, Yakiniku Aochan, Wasabi Bistro, Tomo Izakaya, Tampopo Grand, Ramen Dining Keisuke, Gyu Kaku and Akari.
