Simply unforgettable Italian fare @ La Braceria. #sgfood #sg #singapore #sgfoodreview #sg_dining #singapore #italian
La Braceria’s menu eschews regional Italian cuisine, such as Tuscany or Sicilian flavours, currently all the rage in Singapore, in favour of a classic pan-Italian focus. Non-foodies will be reassured with pasta and pizza classics, standouts of which included the fettuccine pasta coated in a savoury black ink sauce tossed with quartered scallop chunks and morsels of squid ($22); homemade ravioli stuffed with ricotta, marscarpone cheese and porcini mushrooms in a light parmesan sauce ($18); and the Diavola pizza ($18) topped with rounds of subtly salty salami. The porcini mushrooms-studded risotto will enthral too with its part creamy, part savoury flavours lifted by a defining drizzle of truffle oil.
