“I’m not the most up-to-date with technology”, Mac DeMarco divulged in a recent feature with Pitchfork . This is part of what makes his recent third album This Old Dog such a revelation. After recording his prior two albums DIY-style, at home, he made his first plunge into digital recording with his third one. And now, taking his newfound approach further, the Canadian indie rock auteur has shared a VR music video for the album’s title track . Conceived by multidisciplinary artist Rachel Rossin , who was recently esteemed by Forbes’ “30 Under 30 2017: Art & Style” roundup, the clip was produced by Pitchfork in collaboration with Inception , an agency specialising in 360 and VR entertainment content.
