We were in the studio for about a year and developed this plan to release a series of music, instead of just one album because we had so much music. We realised that no one really cares about albums anymore, unless you’re a true fan of the band or you like to collect albums. Living in Southern California, unless you’re a musician or someone in a band or someone who really loves a band, you don’t really take the time to get to know an album extensively. Our manager came up with the idea to release the EPs like a playlist and we felt like it was a good idea because everyone listens to Spotify playlists nowadays. So, taking advantage of the playlist format, we had two EPs to lead up to the latest album. It’s almost like little pieces of the whole puzzle.
