By now, you should know that England has not only exited the Euro 2016. Its major, Britain, has recently left the European Union (EU) as well. News about Brexit, the portmanteau of "Britain" and "exit", has been plastered all over the media over the past few days. However, not many exactly know what actually happened. I've even been asked if Britain is still part of Europe or is it now a continent of its own! (No, it is still part of Europe.) So, I came up with a quick guide to help you understand what Brexit is all about . Hopefully, you will not sound like a bimbo the next time your friends talk about Brexit. What is the EU? Basically, after World War II, the European countries decided it was time to set aside their differences and form a union in hopes for a greater Europe.
