Wang Shu Jun, 35, had been convicted after a trial of scratching the hands and pulling the cord of station manager Cindy Chua Hui Keng's walkie-talkie at the station at Serangoon Central on Sept 10 2010. The China national was stopped by SMRT staff for not paying the fare of her five-year-old son who was also using a skate scooter within its premises. The parties then tried to resolve the matter.
