$400,000 up in flames in Marsiling factory fire

AN EARLY morning blaze at a Marsiling factory razed four units yesterday, costing one man at least $400,000. Mr Max Yeo, 40, a businessman, said the fire also burnt his plastic manufacturing unit, located next to the unit where the fire is believed to have started. He said the fire completely destroyed $400,000 worth of materials in his unit. The unit in Block 11, Marsiling Industrial Estate Road 1, where the fire started, deals with electronic goods and was completely burnt. More in The New Paper on Saturday (July 16).
