#NEA finds #rats in 4 food outlets and 7-Eleven at Int'l Plaza, thanks to #STOMP report

NEA officers have found rats in four food outlets and other common areas in International Plaza, thanks to a STOMPer's tip-off . The National Environment Agency told STOMP that it will act against the food shop operators and the building management. STOMPer Pauline spotted a large rat feeding on instant noodles in a 7-Eleven store at International Plaza. According to the STOMPer, the store assistant said that there were more rats and he had reported the problem already. NEA told STOMP: "The National Environment Agency (NEA) takes a serious view of any reported rodent infestation in Singapore. "NEA officers inspected and detected the presence of rats in the 7-Eleven shop. We extended our checks and detected similar problem in 4 other food shops and several locations in the common areas of the building.
