Shanmugam said yesterday. The combined value of the Asean economy and the Australian economy is US$3 trillion (S$3.6 trillion), and Asean states are keen to expand the partnership. 'Singapore has pushed for it,' said Mr Shanmugam, who spoke to the Singapore media after five days of meetings among Asean states and their partners. '(The joint committee) will work on the ground in furthering and deepening the relationship.'
