Raymond Lai, then 14, was a student at Bukit View Secondary School and would often see Corrine Ong, then 13 and a student at Teck Whye Secondary School, on the bus before and after school. Twenty years later and happily married, the couple chose to renew their marriage vows on Sunday on board an SBS bus. They were joined by 39 other couples who renewed their marriage vows on board buses as part of the Love is 24/7 event. It was organised by the Family Life Champions (FLCs) of Boon Lay, Clementi, Pioneer and West Coast to celebrate marriage in the community.
