Here's something you don't see every day: A pair of sheep going fishing. 987FM DJs The Muttons, aka Justin Ang and Vernon A, are teaming up with Jade Seah to host a new programme on MediaCorp TV Channel 5 called Catch Of The Day. It is a hidden-camera show that aims to "catch" good Samaritans on our streets: A scenario with someone in need is set up, and the cast and crew wait to see if helpful people will take the bait. It's commonly said that radio DJs should be heard and not seen, so what are The Muttons doing on TV? "Channel 5 has, I think, toyed with the idea of using us as hosts for a while," said Justin. "We did a test shoot and they realised it was so ugly that they couldn't take it. That's why they pulled in Jade, so at least the screen looked better."
