Barricades at KTM railway tracks to keep public away

SINGAPORE : Some members of the public are sneaking into the KTM railway tracks that are off limits to take pictures. Parts of the tracks, which are due to be dismantled, have been closed since July 18. Works to remove the tracks can pose a danger because of the use of heavy machinery. Signboards have been put up and concrete blocks have also been placed on site to prevent vehicles from entering. But the shutterbugs can't seem to get enough. Officials are reminding the public to stay away for their own safety. Singapore has to hand over the dismantled parts of the tracks to Malaysia by December 31 this year.
