China's army general in Singapore for defence summit

The People's Liberation Army's deputy chief of general staff Zhang Qinsheng was one of 22 army chiefs at the Pacific Armies Chiefs Conference which opened on Thursday. This is the first time that China is involved in the gathering of the region's army chiefs and top defence officials.
