A top S'pore make-up artist who's had $100k worth of plastic surgery says he did it to make a difference in his career

Mr Yuan Sng, 39, one of Singapore's top make-up artists, went for plastic surgery for the first time when he was 20. He said he did it to 'make a difference' in his career. -- PHOTO: YUAN SNG HE GOT his first taste of plastic surgery at the age of 20, when he was still doing his national service, and such procedures were still considered taboo. Make-up artist Yuan Sng, now 39, recalled: 'This was just before I left NS to join the workforce, and I felt it would make a difference in my career if I started out with a fresh look.'
