SINGAPORE - Non-oil domestic exports (NODX) in Singapore grew at a slower pace of 9.4 per cent year-on-year in December, from a revised 9.9 per cent recorded in the previous month, as electronic exports to key markets such as the United States and China declined. Sequential growth on a month-on-month seasonally-adjusted basis rebounded, growing at 8.9 per cent, after a 13th contraction in November, helped by non-electronics exports. Overall electronic exports fell by 1.1 per cent in December from a year earlier, in contrast to the 11 per cent growth seen in November, mainly due to weaker demand for disk drives and PC parts, said International Enterprise Singapore.
