Organisers of the 2011 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix have started recruiting F1 marshals

SINGAPORE - The organisers of the 2011 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix have started recruiting marshals for the fourth edition of the night race from Sept 23 to 25. This year's Formula 1 world championship will feature the most number of races in the history of the series. Organisers of the 15th round at the Marina Bay street circuit will recruit a total of 950 race officials to be deployed to work in various positions, including roles as observers and track, flag and fire marshals. Specialist hands-on training will be given to selected candidates, while senior officials will be sent overseas to races in Australia and Malaysia for training attachments. Recruitment of candidates 18 or older opened on Jan 17 and will close on Feb 27. Visit www.raceofficials.singaporegp.sg for further details.
