MASAHIKO Inoha, Japan's hero in the 3-2 win over Qatar on Friday, was not supposed to be so far upfront when he scored the 90th-minute winner. Team orders were for him to stay back as the Blue Samurai were down to 10 men and had allowed the hosts to score twice. 'I couldn't understand why (Inoha) was there in the first place,' said captain Masako Hasebe. 'The coaching staff had told him not to be there and I had told him not to be there. But there he was, and I was surprised. Well, maybe he was right.' Inoha, 25, who made his debut in the previous game, a 5-0 drubbing of Saudi Arabia, said he wanted to make up for his error of allowing Qatar's Sebastian Soria to cut through the offside line and score the first goal.
