Usain Bolt redeems himself after recording the fourth fastest time in history to retain the 200m title

DAEGU - Usain Bolt recorded the fourth fastest time in history as he retained his 200m title at the World Championships. Bolt lost his 100m title when he false-started in last Sunday's final, but the Jamaican was seemingly unaffected as he recorded a time of 19.40 seconds, the third fastest in history. American Walter Dix took silver in 19.70s to add to his silver from the 100m. Frenchman Christope Lemaitre who recorded the fastest time (20.19) in the semi-finals finished third and clocked a personal best of 19.80 to take bronze. THE GUARDIAN
