was saddened to see dyed chicks on sale while on a trip overseas to China. Apparently, the baby birds are not dyed after they hatch -- but injected with the dye when just embryos. Other animals, such as dogs, have also been subjected to the dyeing of their fur . The STOMPer found a video online of another person's similar encounter and said: "Would you like a dyed baby chicken as a pet? Pink, orange, blue, purple, green? Anything but yellow as they're supposed to be? "It's quite common to see dyed chicks for sale in many countries around the world, and these are sold by street vendors in China, India, Malaysia, Morocco, Yemen and even the US. "Looks cute, but the process of how the chicks are dyed is really animal cruelty. "Before they even hatch, the embryos are injected with dye, while still growing within the egg.
