Woman arrested for attempting to bribe 2 police officers

A 30-year-old woman was arrested twice on Sept 2 after attempting to bribe two police officers with $150. She had originally been arrested along Lorong 24 in Geylang during a Criminal Investigation Department (CID) anti-vice operation by two female officers. She then offered the two, Corporal Nur Farhana and Corporal Nur Amira, $150 in return for letting her go, and was promptly arrested again - this time for attempted bribery. She is now being investigated by the police for vice and the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) for attempted bribery.
