Police have yet to determine the cause of the blast, which wrecked the front of the vehicle, said Francis Tolentino, head of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority that oversees road traffic management in the capital. 'The explosive must have been placed underneath the passenger seat,' Director Nicanor Bartolome, head of the Metropolitan Manila district police office, said on ANC television.
