A survey of private sector economists released on Wednesday showed that they see the economy growing by 5.3 per cent this year, down from the 6.2 per cent median forecast they gave three months ago. Their latest prediction is at the lower end of the Government's own forecast, which was narrowed last month, to a range of 5 to 6 per cent growth for this year. For the third quarter of this year, the economy is expected to expand by 5.5 per cent, down significantly from their previous tip of 6.8 per cen...
