SINGAPORE - She often had difficulty removing her ring, especially when the knuckle was swollen. To remove the ring, she had to use soap as a lubricant or she would have to pull very hard. When asked yesterday in court if she had problems removing her ring before a massage in the hotel suite where she was staying, American multi-millionaire Anne Hendricks Bass said she could not remember. She said she placed the ring on a table in the bedroom while she had a massage in the living room of the suite. She left the bedroom door ajar but could not remember if hotel staff could see the ring from the living room.
