On the "pill"? Looks like how you remember events will be affected

LONDON - Women who use hormonal oral contraception, such as the pill, remember events differently, according to the first study of the effects of the pill on memory. The study in the United States, published in Neurobiology of Learning and Memory journal, said that discovered that women on the pill, which is used by some 100 million women around the world, tend to recall gist of an emotional event while those not using any oral contraceptive are better at recalling details. Researchers from the University of California, Irvine, stressed that hormonal contraceptives do not damage memory, but concluded that the change in hormonal balance in the pill user affects "the type of information women remember, not a deficit".
