Last month, a maid known as Chona De Guzman posted a comment on the Ministry of Manpower's (MOM) Facebook page asking if it was right for her employer to install a CCTV camera in her room. It prompted a reply from another maid, Ms Joan Asequia Gonzales, who said she faced the same situation at her employer's home. 'I don't have privacy,' she wrote in the post.
