Hung Yat Sing, 46, a businessman, admitted to four charges of making false declarations at Changi Airport's GST tax refund inspection counter on June 12. He claimed to have bought pearl necklaces and bracelets, and obtained a cash refund of $5,042. Another five similar charges were taken into consideration. He was interviewed by the tax authority in August when he came here on a holiday.
