Latest ST iPhone app allows for customisation - Straits Times

AN UPDATE of Singapore's most popular news iPhone application (or app), The Straits Times, is now available. Version 3.2 now includes features such as landscape viewing, a most-read section, and push notifications in the MyST section, which delivers news alerts based on keywords that users nominate. Users can choose up to three keywords of areas they're interested in to get push notifications - for example, selecting 'football' or 'economy' as keywords will result in users receiving more alerts in those categories. Recent trends show that more and more readers of The Straits Times Online are getting their fix of news on the go via its iPhone app. The app, which is also the most downloaded free news application on the Singapore Apple iTunes store, consistently ranks within the Top 50.
