Singapore’s 2011 population in brief

Please refer to Page 8 of the report. It lists so many benefits to encourage childbirth, and yet people say it is not enough and blame the government. Singaporeans just want to take it easy, enjoy life and then give the excuse that cost of living is preventing them from having children. This is a blatant lie. You see them splurging on expensive restaurants, buying luxury goods, buying the latest car, investing in District 9 property, and goinhg for expensive holidays. Singaporeans are selfish & do not consider the big picture. These hard core statistics further justify the need for immigration. All these years, Singaporeans have just been taking advantage of the government’s kindness, shirking their responsibility and expecting the government to clear up the mess. And when the government proposes a solution, all Singaporeans know is to complain.
