Singaporeans living up to food-lovers reputation via @cmswire
SINGAPORE consumers lived up to their reputation as foodies once again, according to a MasterCard Survey on Consumer Purchasing Priorities released on Monday. Of the 400 people that were polled, 74 per cent said they would spend on 'Dining and Entertainment.' That's the third year running where 'Dinning and Entertainment' has topped Singaporean's priorities. 'Consumer Electronics' tied with 'Fashion and Accessories' in second place at 58 per cent, while 'International Personal Air Travel' placed third on Singaporeans' buying priorities at 45 per cent. The survey also shows that 58 per cent of consumers in Singapore plan to maintain the same level of spending. 19 per cent said they intend to spend more, while 23 per cent are planning to spend less.
