#Newsflash: Wind and rain sends trees toppling at #ChoaChuKang

Not only do you have to deal with with slick roads and poor visibility when driving in the rain, but you may also be struck by trees that topple. STOMPer Rashid alerted us that there are a few fallen trees in the Choa Chu Kang area this afternoon (Feb 12) at about 5pm. The fallen tree blocked the road, so he had to reverse his vehicle out against the flow of traffic. The STOMPer reported: "This happened today (Feb 12) at about 5 pm along Choa Chu Kang Way and Choa Chu Kang Ave 1. "Luckily the trees didn't hit anything," added the STOMPer over the phone. STOMPer choachukangresident also reported another fallen tree at Choa Chu Kang Central at about 4pm: "Tree fell due to the heavy downfall and strong winds at Choa Chu Kang Central. Luckily no one was injured."
