Vince Cable begins trade visit to South East Asia. 1st stop Singapore, 1 of UK's biggest export markets outside Europe

UK-Singapore Economic & Business Partnership Agreement 31 October 2011 Dr Vince Cable MP and Singapore Minister Mr Lim Hng Kiang signed an agreement to boost economic cooperation, expand opportunities for business partnerships. UK Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills & President of the Board of Trade Dr Vince Cable and Singapore Minister for Trade and Industry Mr Lim Hng Kiang signed a UK-Singapore Economic & Business Partnership Agreement today. The agreement which marks another milestone in bilateral relations will allow UK and Singapore to establish more regular and strategic dialogues on economic and business matters such as global economic developments. It will also provide the platform to seek opportunities for new and more valuable partnerships. For example, both countries will enhance business cooperation in priority sectors such as urban solution...
