SINGAPORE: Two people were injured on Monday (Sep 29) night after a lorry fell into a canal at 320 Ubi Avenue 1. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident at 7.48pm and sent two men to Changi General Hospital. One had a fractured left arm, while the other complained of back pain. Channel NewsAsia understands that they are passers-by. Facebook user Zihao Wei shared photos of the aftermath. He said he had been walking by when he saw people crowding around the canal. When he approached he saw that the area had been cordoned off by police. Lorry found stuck in a canal.
