Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen appointed Leader of the House #Singapore

Dear MIWs, just as there are some apparently positive high-profile MSM coverage of your post-election deeds (Cabinet reshuffling, Built-ahead-Order HDB flats, minister/MP getting personal feel of transportation infrastructure, etc), there are some puzzling and worrisome issues at hand, which MSM and probably MIWs are trying to side-step. First, there is Mr Khaw appearing to imply that we need foreigners, and if we don't, we will have to endure low rates of economic growth. Is this an overt remark designed to threaten us? Second, why is the withdrawal cap limit for CPF increased? What is the rationale? There're so much pre-election promises such as no increment in GST and this and that, and now, a new way devised to lock up our CPF monies using the new scheme of higher limits?
