India offers TVs, cars, motorbikes for sterilisation volunteers

'Everyone who gets sterilised between today and Sep 30 will be entered into a lottery to win prizes,' he said. The first prize is a Tata Nano, billed as the world's cheapest car at about US$3,000 (S$3,678), but other rewards up for grabs include motorcycles and 21-inch televisions.
